Privacy Policy

DIM X and its affiliates (collectively, “DIM X”, “we”, “us”, and/or “our”) have created this Privacy Policy in order to demonstrate the organisation’s commitment to the privacy of it’s users and participants on the DIM X Service (“the Service”). This Privacy Policy describes the way in which DIM X collects, uses, shares and protects Personal Information of it’s users obtained through the DIM X Service. By using or accessing the DIM X Service, the reader acknowledges and assents to this Privacy Policy.

“Personal Information” is information, whether true or not, about an individual whose identity is apparent, or can reasonably be ascertained from that particular information. DIM X values the privacy of it’s users and processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including, but not limited to, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The privacy and security of it’s users are of highest priority and every effort will be made to ensure that all the information provided by users is protected.

Data Collection and Dissemination

DIM X processes personal data for legitimate business purposes and interests, which may include some or all of the following:

  • To administer and manage the relationship between DIM X and it’s users
  • To evaluate, review, approve, or enter into potential contractual arrangements
  • To enable DIM X to enhance, modify, personalize or otherwise improve the services and communications for the benefit of users
  • To keep users informed about activities, products and services that may be of interest to users, as permitted by applicable law
  • To enhance the security of the network and information systems
  • To better understand how people interact with the DIM X Service
  • To comply with certain obligations under applicable law, industry guidelines and internal policies
  • To manage, administer and assign transactions that are effected on DIM X facilities
  • To determine the effectiveness of promotional campaigns and advertising.

Use of User Information

DIM X and it’s representatives store and use Personal Information solely for providing the Service and improving it. In particular, DIM X may utilise users‘ Personal Information for the following purposes:

  • To maintain the Service. DIM X uses Personal Information to ensure that the services function properly;
  • To improve the Service. Personal Information helps the systems ensure that the DIM X interface is accessible for users across all platforms;
  • To comply with legal obligations. In many jurisdictions, DIM X is obliged to collect certain information about users to be authorised to act upon governing laws that pertain to KYC & AML regulations (Know Your Client and Anti-Money Laundering). DIM X is obliged to obtain Personal Information in order to provide information during criminal investigations;
  • To protect users’ assets. DIM X may use information to identify users and the assets belonging to any one or many user/s in order to secure access to accounts and prevent fraud. Information about transactions allows DIM X to monitor suspicious activity and protect users from fraud and scam activity;
  • To send periodic e-mails. DIM X may use the information collected from users during the registration process or use certain other site features. This might be for security reasons, to obtain opinions about the website, or it may be to keep users updated on any changes made to the Service. DIM X may also send periodic emails with news and Website and Service updates, or use this information to follow up with users after a live chat or email;
  • To resolve disputes and enforce agreements to the extent necessary and sufficient for protecting users’ interests.

Personal Information which may be Collected by DIM X

While providing web-based constant services, DIM X may collect Personal Information, namely:

Information necessary for registration.

In order to access the full functionality of the Service, users need to register. In order to complete the registration process, users shall provide an e-mail address.

Transaction Information.

For all personal user accounts, DIM X collects transaction information including transaction history.

Information collected automatically by the DIM X Service

Through the use of DIM X and it’s exchange tools, the Service monitors and collects tracking information related to usage, such as access date and time, device identification, operating system, browser type and IP address. This information may be directly obtained by DIM X or through third party services.

DIM X may also collect Personal Information for KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti Money Laundering) purposes. However, DIM X does not collect any information that may identify users without their expressed consent.

Children

DIM X does not intentionally collect or use any personal data from users under the age of 18

Data Retention

DIM X will retain user information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this policy. DIM X will retain user information only to the extent necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Cookie Policy

Cookies are files containing a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to users’ browsers from the Service and stored on users’ computer hard drives.

DIM X uses cookies to recognise browsers and/or devices, learn about user interests, and provide users with essential features and services and for additional purposes, including:

  • Recognising users when they sign-in to use the DIM X services.
  • Keeping track of users’ specified wallet addresses for improving user experience.
  • Keeping track of transaction initiating process.
  • Preventing fraudulent activity.
  • Improving security.
  • Reporting. This allows DIM X to measure and analyze service performance.

Users can manage browser cookies through their browser settings. The „Help“ feature on most browsers will inform users on how to prevent their browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify users when they have received a new cookie, how to disable cookies, and when cookies will expire. If users disable all cookies, neither DIM X nor third parties will transfer cookies to users’ browsers. If users disable cookies, however, they may have to manually adjust some preferences every time they visit a Website and some features and services may not work.

Security Measures

DIM X aims to protect user information as much as we aim to protect our own information and network. DIM X will not permit any third parties to contact users directly on an unsolicited basis in relation to their own products or services. DIM X does not sell, trade, or rent users’ personal identification information to others. Users should never disclose their account passwords to unauthorised parties.

DIM X uses certain security measures to keep personal information safe, but there is no guarantee that these measures will stop any users from trying to get around the privacy or security settings on the Service through unforeseen and/or illegal activity. That is why DIM X makes no warranty, express, implied or otherwise, that it will prevent such access.
